On June 24th Dan suffered a 10 minute seizure while at work and was rushed to the hospital.  After a series of test, initial fears were confirmed as doctors discovered a golf ball sized tumor in one of Dan's kidneys, a small tumor in his liver and five small tumors in his brain.

]]> no_email@example.com (kelfire) http://www.kelownafirefighters.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=21 Advancement In Airpack Technology http://www.kelownafirefighters.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=20 Here is a video clip showing the new style or airpacks that will hopefully be introduced to the fire service within a couple years.  These packs are designed to make our jobs much easier as they are much lighter and flexible which will enable a firefighter to get more 'working time' from a single air pack.  This extra working time may only be a few minutes, but could be enough to go that extra stretch to save a life.
