Falcons Night Out

In 2012 the Nonis family; owners of the Kelowna Falcons, teamed up with the Kelowna Firefighters Charitable Society to create a great fundraiser. The event consists of the Kelowna Falcons (West Coast League), regular season game. A kids zone with bouncy castles and face painting, games/challenges between innings, a 50/50 draw, and closing with an amazing fireworks show. This event has raised tens of thousands of dollars to support Kelowna Firefighters Charitable Society programs.

Rooftop Campout

The Kids Firefighter Challenge and Rooftop Campout was started in 2018. Both events happen throughout the weekend downtown next to the Kelowna Yacht Club. Firefighters can be seen camping out on the roof of the Kelowna Yacht Club and shaking the boot on the boardwalk throughout the day fundraising donations for the Kelowna Firefighters Charitable Society. Firefighters also set up a firefighter themed obstacle course for children of all ages to take part in. You might even see a few adults or “big kids” taking part in the obstacle course. The Kelowna Firefighters are on site to help participants through the course as well as educate them on fire safety.

Boot Drive

The Boot Drive has a long history with fire departments across North America.
