Thanks Costco!

costco pink shirt 2013

The Kelowna Professional FireFighters would like to thank Costco and their employees for their outstanding support in the Firefighter’s goal to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The Firefighters are selling the pink shirts at Fire Station #1 on Enterprise Way to raise money and awareness for this great cause. The shirts are of course pink and include the phrase “Brave enough to wear pink, because we care.”

A minimum donation of $20 is being requested for a pink shirt. All sale proceeds will support the Kelowna Professional Firefighter’s Charitable Society’s donation to this year’s CIBC Run for the Cure.

The 22nd annual CIBC Run for the Cure takes place on Sunday October 6, at City Park in Kelowna. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s CIBC Run for the Cure is the largest single-day, volunteer-led fundraising event for breast cancer in Canada.
